      Recap

We have live score commentary from the All Ireland Football U20 semi-final – Dublin v Tyrone. Throw in for the match is 2:30pm Saturday.

Firstly, it is Dublin vs Tyrone in Kingspan Breffni Park. Last year’s runners-up will be keen to prove that they can get over the line after being beaten by Cork in the final. This time around, they need to first overcome a high-quality Tyrone side who have their own high ambitions.

The Leinster side imitated their senior counterparts by cruising through Leinster. For example, they had ten points to spare in the final against a spirited Laois team. On that day, seven different scorers contributed to their 18 points. But, now the Championship becomes far more competitive. The players will be hoping this form doesn’t suffer after such a long lay-off.

Contrastingly, Tyrone had to dogfight their way to an Ulster final. In the quarter-final, they were at the mercy of Armagh in the final quarter of the game. However, they found a way back in and eventually won in extra-time. Then, Antrim seemed to handle the atrocious elements better in the semi-final. Yet, Tyrone still found a way to win 0-11 vs 0-9. Surprisingly, the final offered them the least trouble. A strong second-half surge led by corner-forward Ethan Jordan led them to a 1-11 vs 0-9 victory.
